ADMISSION  &  GENERAL FAQs 
  • Yes, we will be charging admission, even  for parents/families.
  • Admission is $5/person per day.
  • Kids 8 & Under—FREE
  • Players—FREE
  • COACHES—We need the names of 3 coaches (email / text message). These 3 coaches will have passes to pick up at the admission table each day​​
​YES - we do take credit / debit cards (thru Square) for admission, raffle tickets, shirts, and anything else you are looking to purchase.
Raffle tickets can also be purchased thru the website as well.


NO - We do not control the concession stand. It is handled and run by Capitol Federal Sports Complex.
The Ryan Grace Memorial Tournament is responsible for the food vendors located away from the concession stand, and appreciates their support!

​Our volunteer staff will be provided masks to wear at their discretion and they will do their very best to follow social distancing guidelines.

TOURNAMENT RULES

We will follow USSSA rules/guidelines with these additional layers:
  • Machine Pitch: 1:15 time limit with a :10 term time (new inning will NOT begin in term time)
  • 9u-14u: 1:30 time limit with :10 term time (new inning will NOT begin in term time)
  • High School: 1:45 time with :10 term time (new inning will NOT begin in term time)
  • Max 8 runs per half inning
  • Mathematical elimination will be in effect: 15 after 3, 12 after 4, 8 after 5.
  • On Sunday for elimination games, we will follow CA rules (runner on 2nd base, zero outs) in the event a new inning needs to start in term time to determine a winner.
  • PITCHING: MAX 8 innings over total tournament (counting outs as 1/3 of an inning)
  • Tiebreakers to determine standings (in order:) win/loss record, head to head, runs against, run differential
CAPITOL FEDERAL SPORTS COMPLEX POLICIES
  • No metal cleats
  • No sunflower seeds or peanuts
  • No gum on the playing field
  • No smoking inside the complex
  • No outside food or drink allowed inside the complex
  • No scooters, bikes, skates or skateboards allowed
  • No coolers allowed inside the complex
  • No alcohol allowed
  • No dogs or other pets allowed
AstroTurf Policy
  • Due to the quality and maintenance needs of the AstroTurf at Capitol Federal Sports Complex, peanuts with shells, sunflower seeds and gum are strictly prohibited.
  • Athletes will only be permitted to wear molded cleats or other athletic shoes on the playing surface.
  • No tobacco products, sports drinks or liquids other than water will be allowed on the turf.
COVID-19  SAFETY  PROCEDURES

​Restrooms
  • All restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized every 90 minutes. 
  • All restrooms will be power washed and deep cleaned at the end of each day.
  • All front line workers will wear a mask when cleaning the restrooms.
  • All spectators and participants are expected to wash their hands as frequently as possible to help prevent the spreading of germs.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the facility.
Spectators
  • All bleachers have been either removed or blocked off from any spectators. 
  • Spectators are expected to bring their own chairs for seating.
  • Spectators should stay at least six feet away from others whenever possible.
  • Stay home if you are feeling sick/experience any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Stay home if you or anyone in your household has been to any of the restricted travel locations listed by the CDC within the past 14 days.
  • All playground equipment in each complex will be closed until further notice.
Teams/Players
  • Teams will need to provide their OWN anti-bacterial wipes to wipe down the dugout before, during, and after their game.
  • Stay home if you are feeling sick/experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Stay home if you or anyone in your household has been to any of the restricted travel locations listed by the CDC within the past 14 days.
  • No team/player handshakes or high fives before, during, or after game.
  • Dugout area has been expanded for all teams. No more than 6 people in the dugout at one time. 
  • No team water coolers are permitted. Players use their own water coolers.
  • No gum or sunflower seeds within the facility.
Concession Stand
  • All concession employees will wear gloves as they prepare and serve food. 
  • Surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized regularly. 
  • To maintain the 6 ft. distance, please designate one person to order from the concession stand. 
  • Windows will be in place to protect both the customer and the employee.
  • Staff will not refill any water bottles at the concession stand
