Could it be? Almost here?

It sounds like baseball could be right around the corner!!

I’ve always been full disclosure on my event, and this year is going to be no different. Here’s where we stand:

• I currently have 36 teams committed as of this morning!! Of that 36, 11 of them are from last year. Those numbers tell me a couple of things: we have plenty of room to grow, but considering current conditions, we are on a great pace. It also says we have an opportunity to increase those numbers considerably if/when we have teams from last year commit again. To those teams who participated last year, COME ON WITH IT!
  • In all seriousness, for those coaches who reached out to me after last year’s event with constructive input/feedback, THANK YOU! For those of you who are on the fence about this year, I’d love to hear from you! Retention is the most important factor to keeping this event going.

I know there are many organizations and teams holding off because of other events rescheduling or they’re waiting to see where this whole mess goes. So long as Liberty Parks and Rec is open, we have a tournament site, a date, umpires, and vendors locked in. (And, worst case, we have alternate plans in place to raise money…)
