The calm before excitement! Keys in hand and ready to go! Please stop me and say hello as I run by this weekend! It means so much to ME (Matt) personally for everyone to commit their time, energy, and resources to all of this. Without all of you, none of this is possible. 💜💚💜💚
Get your raffle tickets for all the great prizes, including half the total pot! T-shirts and racerbacks will be on site to order!
Proceeds from ALL of these different pieces go to Midwest Transplant Network, who will be on site during the day Saturday!
"We hope you'll attend The Ryan Grace Memorial Baseball Tournament this weekend. Last year, Ryan's family graciously donated all proceeds to Midwest Transplant Network. Ryan Grace, was an organ donor after a tragic car accident on September 17th, 2017. Matt Hampel, Ryan's daddy, says the goal is simple... raise awareness about organ donation while also having a great event for kids. #GiveHopeShareLife "
Thank you all SO much for sharing our event! All proceeds are once again going to Midwest Transplant Network! We will have a food truck, snow cones, and Cowtown Mini Donuts (Sunday) on site. We’ll also have a 50/50 raffle but also with a signed Travis Kelce Jersey, Royals tix, tons of gift cards, and much more you can win! And T-shirts! We have a new design and style this year! See you this weekend!
ROUND 2 OF RYAN SHIRT ORDERS!!!!!
This order will be placed after this weekends tournament. If you didn't get in on the first order this is your chance. These will be on sale at the tournament as well. We will not order until we've received payment from you via Paypal (email@example.com), Venmo (@ryangracememorial), or CC thru Square.
If I have not spoke to you about your team registration OR you have not paid it as of this morning, please send me a PM/text and let me know your plan to get that completed. Once I have a final team count, I can make a schedule for Saturday and get umpires scheduled as well.
Credit card: I’ll run thru Square
The Mobile Doc RV from Liberty Urgent Care will be on site both Saturday and Sunday for any/all medical needs. Their entire staff took wonderful care of me during my transitions before and after my shoulder procedures. Thank you all so much for coming to support this event!! 💜
We still have room for ONE 10u and TWO 11u teams in the tournament. If anyone is interested, please send them my way!! It's going to be a great event for a wonderful cause.
We are back and better than ever!! :)
Only 10 more days until the Tournament!! The first order of Ryan shirts are in and ready to be picked up. If you would like for us to hold on to them until the tournament, we certainly can. Or, reach out to Heather or I and swing by to grab them! YES, we will do another order of them after the tournament. We will have a table set up by the admission table to get your order in.
Lastly, we will still take any sponsorships/gift cards to throw into the 50/50 raffle! Thank so much!
Good evening everyone. If anyone has any contacts for umpires, please send them my way or please reach out to them for the tournament. I still have a few spots to fill. You will not work alone, and the pay is $35/game. To those umpires I already have signed up, thank you! However, I’m also not going to stretch you all so thin you’re not at the top of your game.
They are here!! See photo attached! We are excited to offer new shirts this year! If you would like to order shirts before the tournament, you will need to get your order in ASAP with us! We will be taking orders for shirts AT the tournament if you decide not to order before then.
Please send payment to:
Ready. Set. Go!!!!!
Good morning everyone.
I am still looking for teams for 10u and 12u age divisions! 9u is full and I've had to turn teams away, and 11u is at 6 teams with 3 'maybes' currently. I've capped each age on a certain number of teams to avoid playing late into the evening on Sunday for the bracket. No one wants to play baseball at 10pm on a Sunday night to turn around and go to work!! :)
Other info, big day yesterday: baseballs, field insurance, medals, and restrooms (big deal, I know!) all confirmed yesterday. Plus, 2 new additions to the 50/50 raffle: a SIGNED Travis Kelce football AND jersey with certificates of authenticity (plus I know the person who asked him to sign them.)
Lastly, I'll be reaching out to teams today with different options on how to pay their registration. Venmo or PayPal is best, simply because they don't take a percentage of the funds, but other options are available depending on how you have your team account/funds set up.
Have a great day!
Updates from the tournament organizer, Ryan's dad, Matt Hampel, and his amazing wife, Heather.
